I participated the Tour de Fleece this year -- you spin every day during the Tour de France. I was able to complete 6 yarns and do a lot of practice spinning. In addition, I tried two new techniques: corespinning and beehives.
I was hoping to accomplish more and was frustrated by the little time I had available to spin. But my job is always busy and there were a number of days when I got home really late and spun for 15 minutes, just so I could say that I spun every day....

What's "beehives?"
I'm a beginning spinner and a beekeeper, so it caught my attention.
"Beehives" are the coils imbedded into the spun yarn pictured in the top left photo. They sort of look like little beehives...
