Friday's Feast

Time for another Friday get-to-know-me post. This one is from Friday's Feast:

Appetizer

When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed? A couple of months ago. It's very much time again... I need to call for an appointment tomorrow!

Soup

Name one thing you miss about being a child. A summer filled with free time.

Salad

Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil. 1) olive oil, 2) butter, never) margarine

Main Course

If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why? French, because we live so close to Canada.

Dessert

Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be… I suspect my life will be pretty similar to what it is right now. But it'll be interesting to see!

Appetizer

What is the weather like today where you live? Hot, super humid, volatile

Soup
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how career-minded are you? Probably about an 8

Salad
What type of window coverings do you have in your home? Blinds, curtains, shutters, etc.? We live way out in the country -- really no close neighbors. So hardly any windows have coverings on them. There are light curtains in our bedroom, curtains and shades in the media room (to screen out the sun as needed, and keep it warm in the winter), and black-out shades in Tommy's room -- the window covering of choice for all teenagers!

Main Course
Name something that instantly cheers you up. 1) Chocolate, 2) a warm bath, 3)a cup of tea, 4) a kitty on my lap, 5) a hug (I'm a creature comfort type of person...).

Dessert
How many times do you hit the snooze button on a typical morning? Never; my snooze button is broken.

Have you ever been in or near a tornado? Yes, we live in a high tornado area. I've never been in one, but there have been quite a few within a few miles of us.
